This course covers the planning, installation, configuration, and administration of VMware ESXi 5 with vCenter Server 5 management interface in a NetApp storage environment. Comparison of NFS and VMFS datastore pros and cons are explained with configuration of related network settings.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to confidently configure VMware ESXi 5.0 on NetApp Data ONTAP 8.1 7-mode architecture and its components and explain the key benefits of NetApp’s vCenter-integrated Virtual Storage Console as an end-to-end solution.
